Overview
Series 1200 TECNO MIR is a range of technopolymer microcylinders designed for pneumatic actuation. These cylinders follow the ISO 6432 standard and are used in industrial automation applications where compact size and low weight are important.
Main Features
Construction
The body and end caps are made of glass fiber reinforced nylon technopolymer, providing a lightweight but durable structure.
The barrel is chromed in versions with a non magnetic piston.
The piston rod is available in stainless steel for magnetic piston versions or aluminium depending on configuration.
Seals are typically made of PUR, with the piston seal in oil resistant NBR.
Operating Conditions
The cylinders are designed to operate with filtered compressed air. Lubrication is not required but can be used if desired.
Maximum working pressure is approximately 8 bar.
The operating temperature range is approximately minus 5 degrees Celsius to plus 50 degrees Celsius.
Variants and Options
Available with magnetic piston for use with position sensors or non magnetic piston.
Versions include basic type, without rear eye, or with push or pull rod.
Available bore sizes include 12 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, and 25 mm with various stroke lengths that can reach up to about 300 mm depending on bore size.
Mounting and Accessories
A wide range of mounting options is available, including feet, flanges, rod forks, and rear eye mounts.
Compatible with sensor clamps and accessories for position sensing.
Typical Applications
These microcylinders are commonly used in light automation systems, packaging machines, robotics, and pick and place applications.
Thanks to their technopolymer construction, they are lighter than traditional aluminium microcylinders, helping reduce overall system weight while maintaining reliable performance.
